Tarot Reading for the Week Ahead!

I used my Dream Enchantress Tarot for this reading and I have to say I am really liking this deck. I think I may write a review of it. I have had it a while so that “honeymoon” period is over and it is turning out to be a solid deck, not just for readings but for creative writing experiments and Tarot meditations.

Okay, enough about that and onto the reading. So what kind of excitement does this upcoming week have in store? Quite a bit, I should think…

Have a good week 🙂

  1. Hi, Kate!

Thanks so much for reading from this deck again. Intrigued by seeing you use it on your blog, I went ahead and purchased it and found it beautiful and mysterious–but maybe too mysterious! I’m looking forward to reading your review of it, when you get to it, and hope that you’ll include a notification of the review either in your fab new newsletter or on Daily Tarot Girl so I don’t miss it!

Also, about the Page of Pents … I just got the Deck of 1000 Spreads. It’s a fantastic, crazy deck that is all “position cards” for tarot and oracle card layouts. I’d seen it around for a little while, but waited (unusual for me!) to buy it. But now that I have it, it’s totally giving me a fresh, PagePents feel about tarot reading. It’s sending me back to student-hood as it gives such a focus on layouts. I’m looking forward to learning more about the theory behind layouts as well as more about how to craft effective spreads, myself, using these cards.

The deck is available on Amazon, of course, but here’s the link the deck’s creator, Tierney Sadler, created which has lots of additional uses for these cards: http://www.1000spreads.com/

Thanks, as always, for a beautiful and inspiring start to my week.
    Big bunny hugs,

    1. P.S. Because the Three of Cups and the Three of Pents had been coming up for me over and over and over (sort of happy cards to be repeating!), I went looking for more interpretations of both. One that really struck a chord for me, considering a project I am working on with two women friends, was in Karen Mahoney’s companion book to the Baroque Bohemian Cats Tarot, in which she barely even gives a nod to the usual “celebration” interpretation, but, instead, says the this card refers specifically to creative projects that are being done by a group of women!

So with that ridiculously laser-ed concept, what I’m going to look for at the end of my week will be one of the women contacting me to suggest we get together and work on our project! I’ll let you know what happens …

(Of course, a good party would be just fine, too!)

    2. Jamie,
I will look into that deck – that sounds really interesting. I love crafting tarot spreads on the fly…so much fun!
And I will definitely let you know when I do the review – it will be in my newsletter and on my blog for sure.
      Cheers!
      Kate
