Tarot Reading for May 3 – 9

Spring has sprung! As I type this, I hear birds chirping and the sun is shining. For this week’s reading, I’m using the Heart & Hands Tarot by Liz Blackbird…

Have a good week 🙂

  1. Hello Kate, Nice reading. My input is on the 8oC. My first impression of 8oC is always “something’s missing” and here I see it is some kind of emotion. Whatever is/was planted and “shared” ends up lacking something deeper than physical. The sun being the giver of light to the moon – is lacking emotion- hence the lackluster expression on the sun’s “face.” When I first saw this 8oC I didn’t really like the sun on the card. But then, I didn’t see it as a skeleton – but as lack of emotion.
(Every time you use this deck I initially think “I don’t care for this deck” and then by the time it’s over, I get it. I must buy this deck! Is there a place that you can get credit if I buy it?)
I also see the 8oC having the “road” to keep going to find that (il)lumination.

    1. Hey Sharon,

Just wanted to say I really like what you wrote here about the Eight of Cups. :’)

      Cheers,

    2. Thank you so much for sharing your interpretation here, Sharon 🙂
I believe the Heart & Hands tarot is available on Etsy and I heard that US Games will be publishing it in the Summer, so it will be more widely available. I only get credit when someone buys something through one of my Amazon links (and even then it’s like 2%), so don’t worry about that – I’m just happy to get the word out there about this deck because I think it’s a good one!

  2. I like how you’ve interpreted the first 2 cards and with what you are saying about the 8 of cups is intriguing. Could it be that it’s another seed planted and worked on, but another ‘something’ that is satisfying at the time, then looses it’s luster by the end of the wk? Like other ‘ideas’ that start great and then peeter out perhaps from lack of interest or quick growth and one wants more, so move further on the road looking to find something else. Always looking for something else, while leaving behind things that satisfied you at one time. Just what came to me seeing this winding road.
