Daily Tarot Card for Friday ~ Experiencing

three-of-fire-osho-zen-tarot
Osho Zen Tarot

The message of today’s tarot card, which is from the Osho Zen Tarot, is that life is about experiencing the journey – not the destination!

If you go out for a walk in nature today, make sure you stop and observe the stillness of the rocks and trees. Take the time to connect with your surroundings and feel the energy that radiates from all living things.

The woman in this card appears to be one with the tree, her glowing aura merging with the aura of the tree. She is fully enjoying the present moment and has managed to slip out of her mind and into the radiant energy of the present.

Today, try being as present as you can be, particularly when talking with others. Instead of trying to analyze another’s words, try feeling them. Try sensing the energy of the other person. This sounds crazy because we are so used to communicating on a mental level and not an energy level. When you are having a conversation with someone today, try being fully present with them, not only listening to what they say but sensing how they feel as well.

Goals ~ Daily Oracle Card for Thursday

self-care-cards
Self-Care Cards by Cheryl Richardson

“Goals” are the theme of today’s daily oracle card and the back of this card says “set a goal, write it down, and release the outcome. Small steps make a big difference.”

I love that message! If you want to know how to turn your dreams into reality, the first step is creating goals for yourself. The act of setting a goal and writing it down makes you see it as something that is possible. This act releases your desires out into the universe and enhances the likelihood that they will return in the form of physical reality.

However, this daily oracle card warns you not to stay stuck in the fantasy, day dreaming phase for too long. Once your goal has been written down, see if you can come up with a small action step each week that will bring you closer to your goal. This might entail creating smaller goals that help you eventually achieve your bigger goal. Here is a small worksheet to get you started:

1) My main goal is to: ________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________

2) My goal for this month (that will bring me closer to my main goal) is: ________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________

3) What I can do this week (to bring me closer to my monthly goal): ________________________________________________________________

________________________________________________________________

4) What will help me achieve my action step this week?

Ten of Swords ~ Tarot Reading for Wednesday

ten of swords tarot card
The Dream Enchantress Tarot by Marco Nizzoli

Today’s Tarot card, Ten of Swords, asks the question what happens after you have slayed all your dragons? What will be left for you to focus on?

Sometimes our “problems” become a big part of who we are and we can harbor a secret fear that life will be boring and empty once all the drama has ended. Conflict isn’t just stressful – it can also be exciting and entertaining. Drama can definitely add a certain spiciness to life!

So when you say that you “don’t want anymore drama”, are you being completely honest with yourself?

Another theme I get from this card is that we are all ONE, and we are all deeply connected to each other. So if we hurt, despise or attack someone else, we are also doing this to a part of ourselves. The dragon in this card represents the Shadow Self, the aspect of our self that we deny and repress. When we recognize this aspect in others, we seek to destroy or criticize them.

In this way, the “drama” that we create in our lives is often a way for us to engage with our shadow aspects in the hope that they will eventually be healed. This Ten of Swords tarot card suggests that instead of slaying your dragon, make friends with it and notice how it begins to transform your life!

Goddess Oracle Card for Tuesday ~ Aeracura

goddess guidance oracle cards
Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue

Today’s Goddess Oracle Card is “Aeracura: Blossoming,” and it says, “You are just getting started, so have patience with yourself and the process, and do not give up.”

The strongest message I got when I looked at this card was not to hold off on doing something just because you will not be perfect or the best at it. It is perfectly okay to be average (or even terrible) at something, especially if you are just learning it.

Do not wait to be perfect to get out there and do something – do it now! You will never be good at anything if you do not take a risk and try something outside of your comfort zone.

The other vibe I get with this Goddess Oracle Card is that you are just beginning to blossom into a new phase in your life – a freer, more creative phase. Sometimes there can be self doubt and other challenges in the beginning, but rest assured that you will build more confidence and grace over time.

The Hermit ~ Tarot Card for Monday

Intuitive Tarot
The Intuitive Tarot by Cilla Conway

The Hermit tarot card is all about taking comfort in solitude and shining the light of consciousness and inner wisdom on your life.

When you look at this card you see scary creatures lurking in the dark corners. This represents the idea that we fear what we do not understand. There are no frightening creatures in the light. When you notice your fears come up, shine the light of awareness on it. The more you know about and are aware of your fears, the less power they will hold over you.

Nearly every negative feeling we have can be traced back to fear. So when a negative feeling arises today, ask yourself what the original fear is. Get to know your fears – where did they originate from? How do they effect you in your day to day life? What would it be like if that fear disappeared? What kinds of things can you do to help dissipate this fear?

The Hermit tarot card encourages you to explore your inner life through meditation. Your meditation could take many forms, such as yoga, writing, walking, art, dance or gardening – whatever allows you to connect with that wise, ancient part of yourself.

Ocean ~ Daily Oracle Card for Sat & Sun

Earth Magic Oracle Cards by Steven Farmer
Earth Magic Oracle Cards by Steven Farmer

Today’s daily oracle card is “Ocean: Ebb and Flow” and it carries with it a message of constant change, cycles and fluctuations.

Like the tide, your life will have times of ebb, where things will seem to slow down and there may be a lack of abundance. And then times of flow, where abundance will come to you easily and naturally.

Times of flow can be exciting and exhausting, so rather than being afraid of the times of ebb, see it as an opportunity to rest and catch your breath. You will need to gather your energy to prepare for the coming period of flow and abundance.

The other meaning I get from this daily oracle card is that we can recharge our batteries by spending time by large bodies of water – oceans, lakes, rivers. I don’t think swimming pools really count. The energy that these bodies of water give off can positively change our moods, so make it a priority this weekend to got to the beach, swim in a lake or lounge by the river!

Oracle Card Reading for Friday ~ Independence

self care cards by cheryl richardson
Self Care Cards by Cheryl Richardson

Today’s Oracle Card Reading reveals that it will be important for you to really exercise your independence. This can make you feel powerful and in charge of your own life, or anxious if you are too worried about hurting someone’s feelings.

The message on the back of this card says, “Decide for yourself. Exercise your right to choose.”

There may be many well meaning people in your life who are very generous with their advice and who think they know what’s best for you. Thank them for their help and then make the choice that feels right to you.

This could mean going in a totally different direction than you had previously planned or even breaking away from the group and striking out on your own. Always remember that your sense of freedom and empowerment depends on your ability to recognize your right to make choices in your own life.

This Oracle Card Reading encourages you to let go of any worries about how others might take your expression of independence. Imagine those around you being supportive of your choices and in turn, offer them your unconditional acceptance of the life choices that they make (even if you think they are making a terrible mistake!).

Princess of Cups ~ Tarot Card for Thursday

druidcraft tarot princess of cups
The Druidcraft Tarot by Philip and Stephanie Carr-Gomm and Will Worthington

Today’s Tarot Card, the Princess of Cups, encourages you to truly enjoy being alive. Take time to savor earthly delights such as walking barefoot across the grass, eating good food, the feel of the sunlight on your skin and the smell of Summer in the air.

Your ability to create a beautiful life for yourself and progress on a spiritual level is connected to how well you are able to enjoy this present moment.

In general, our society discourages us from spending long periods of time just luxuriating in the beauty of what is. Instead we are encouraged to rush about and to be at war with what is, exerting a ton of effort to change things. The best book I have read on this topic is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.

So be a rebel today – allow yourself to accept everything as it is and enjoy the relaxation and peace that follows from this way of being. Today will be all about re-learning how to fully enter the present moment and to stop and smell the roses. Today, be like this Princess of Cups – calm, receptive and joyous.

Goddess Oracle Card for Wednesday ~ Butterfly Maiden

goddess guidance oracle card doreen virtue
Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue

The Goddess Oracle Card for today is “Butterfly Maiden” whose message is one of transformation. This card says “You are experiencing enormous change right now, which brings great blessings.”

This Goddess Oracle card’s message is similar to yesterday’s Six of Swords reading. Change, transition and transformation can feel chaotic and unpleasant when you are right in the middle of it, or it can feel exciting and wonderful.

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the changes that you are going through, make sure you nurture yourself and find ways to make this transition more pleasant. Journalling can be a very rewarding experience and a good way to sort through your feelings and create positive affirmations to heal your life.

Creative projects are another wonderful way for you to channel your pent up energy into something physical. But ultimately, you want to fully embrace and celebrate this exciting change you are going through. The Butterfly Maiden Goddess Oracle Card suggests that good things await you!

Six of Swords ~ Tarot Card Reading for Tuesday

six of swords tarot card meaning
The Intuitive Tarot by Cilla Conway

The Six of Swords tarot card is all about movement and transition. Today is all about moving on with things and making a transition to a new way of life or a new way of thinking and being.

This could be a physical transition, like travel or moving to a new location or new job, or it could symbolize a shifting of perception, finally letting go of the past and moving on with your journey through life.

You can be rest assured that this journey will be safe as you have many people, guides and angels looking out for you. If things have been challenging lately, they are about to get better.

As you make this transition, celebrate what you have learned from your past experiences that you are now leaving behind and look forward to the future and what you are going to be creating. But most importantly, the Six of Swords urges you to enjoy the journey and the present moment!
