Connecting with Your Tarot Deck

Questions:

1. What card sums up your personality?
2. What issues/areas of life do you specialize in?
3. What do you look for in a Tarot reader?
4. How can we have a great relationship?

For more tips on connecting with your deck, see this blog post.

Some fun journalling topics

1. What does my higher self want me to understand
today?
2. How can I get the most out of today?
3. What talents am I not using?
4. How can I manifest my dreams quickly?
5. What is the meaning of life?

  1. Hi Kate – do you have the sample study guide from this video posted somewhere? I really like it. I can go back and it write it myself if you don’t. This was fun!

  2. Kate – just want to let you know that I really enjoyed the webinar (just finished watching it). Thanks for offering it up for free =)

I also wanted to let you know that the Robin Wood Tarot link is not connected correctly.

I had some questions about decks that I’d like to ask too.
#1 – do you know of any decks that are without people on the illustrations without being a themed deck such as the mystical cats or fairies type decks? I find alot of the illustrations of people are not to my artistic tastes and so then they are distracting.
#2 – what drew me to the tarot is the 1997 movie Kull the Conqueror. Since then I’ve wanted to not only learn about the tarot but also get a set of circle cards! The only ones I’ve found are dolphin oracle cards and it’s not really my style (plus I think my oldest daughter will steal them lol!). Can you recommend ANY circle shaped cards?

thanks again for the webinar and all the info you share =)
    Anne M.

    1. Hi Anne,
I’m so glad you enjoyed my webinar!
Thanks for letting me know about the bad link – I’ve fixed it now 🙂
As for your first question – there is the Tarot of Trees (just google it to see images), which I believe has no people in it, but it is a tree-themed deck. You might want to check out the Thoth Deck – there are people in this deck but not on every card. You might like it.
There are a few circle shaped decks – the Motherpeace Tarot comes to mind: http://amzn.to/1y77rr8, I have a circle deck called Circle of Life Tarot – its really weird though and I cannot read with it. Oh, I just found this page on circular decks on Aeclectic Tarot: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/round-decks.shtml
      Hope that helps!

      Happy Tarot Reading,
      Kate
