It’s the first day of 2017 and what better way to kick it off than watch a Tarot forecast? For this reading I’m using my newest deck, The Timeless Tarot by Tara Winstanley – it’s a very pretty, romantic deck….
Feel free to share your own insights and interpretations in the comments below!
Happy New Year,
Kate
The Daily Tarot Girl
Hi, Kate, I am trying to catch up on my long overdue readings. Sorry to be the late one 🙂
The Death card in this reading is extremely strong but I see an obstacle here, the Elephant and Tiger are causing the Skeleton not to be able to move. In my other decks and from what I know ( not much) the obstacles must be cleared in order to provide us with the meeting and taking care of our own issues. I read from intuition sometimes I get a very good reading only with intuition and others I need more help from my guides.
I felt that I really wanted to get this out for some reason so that is my thought and thank you for your readings they are great so is Veronica
Thanks Debra for adding your own ideas/insights here! Glad you’re enjoying my readings (and especially Veronica!)

Kate,
I am new to your site. I find it very informative and practical. I totally appreciate that. I have had tarot cards for years but have always relied on other’s interpretations to guide me. I really want to learn to do it myself but find myself second guessing myself. Anyway, I just wanted to add a comment about the death card. I agree about the transformation part of it. I think maybe it has something to do about having to let go of the past to allow the Ace of Cups to happen. This can lead to a more mature emotional self as the King of Cups would represent. It seems as a follow through to allowing new beginnings happening by forgetting our baggage and transforming ourselves to a more mature emotional self.
Anyway, thank you for your site. I find it very comforting and inspirational. I am glad I found it.
Welcome Angela! I’m so happy you’re enjoying my website 🙂
I like your take on these three cards, especially Death – thank you for sharing!
Glad you found me 🙂

Hey Kate!
I ran across this vid, and your name popped into my head.
You’ve probably seen it, but better safe than sorry. Hey, that reminds me of a time when I didn’t have a safe, and boy, was I SORRY ( she could rest her legs on the back of her neck!).
