The Seven of Cups is today’s Tarot card and it is all about balancing your ability to fantasize and daydream with your ability to take action and make it happen.
There is a battle between your sensible, lets-make-a-plan side and your oh look! a shiny object! side. These two aspects of yourself can work in harmony, assisting one another or they can be at odds.
Indulge your dreamy, creative side to get ideas and inspiration, but then center yourself in your mature, methodical self to get the job done. Keep a notebook for ideas that pop into your mind, but keep your attention on the task at hand.
If you overlook this, you run the risk of starting many projects and never finishing them!
Well hello there in Fresno, Ca! It’s not often people leave comemnts. *grin*The Angel cards are next on my list of purchases. I swear I only do this professionally so I can buy oracles, Tarot, divination tools, books, etc. etc. Just ten minutes ago I was on the Amazon site wondering what my next purchase will be and I have 5 orders waiting to be delivered! lol I believe it makes for better readings and working with a larger number of different people and queries.Anyway, I digress My intended meaning of Oracles as they are used commonly, is thus: Oracles tend to be very self-explanatory and usually have a fixed meaning whereas Tarot allows for a much broader sweep of the intuitive brush. An oracle usually focuses on the text aspect (a fixed response) instead of the picture aspect (like Tarot does). And although you will find many books professing the meaning of each card, the cards are rich in symbolism that can be interpreted visually and uniquely by each viewer. I hope that makes sense. What would you like to know more about? I have a ton of special decks that I don’t plan on reviewing or will play on reviewing if they go out of print! lol I will see. Oh, I will probably share it’s a bad habit of mine.So was there anything specific you wanted to know about how to read the cards better?
Right now, Kate, about 4:30 p.m. EDT, I’m feeling like the Seven of Cups is the many uncertainties I’m facing as I’m trying to make a good choice for myself about refinancing. Should I lock at today’s rate? (Bird in the hand?) Or should I w–a–i–t for the “shiny thing” and hope I don’t regret it? I waited yesterday–and am regretting it today.
Maybe the Seven has the answer. Cup in the hand.
Thanks!
Hugs,
