What’s better than homemade chocolate zucchini loaf with hot tea and a good book? A cat themed Tarot deck! This week I’m using the Tarot of the Pagan Cats, because let’s face it – all cats are total pagans!
Have a wonderful week!

Funny the first person to respond was named Josie like that cartoon Josie and the Pussycats.
Furthermore very insightful reading. In the 8 of swords the swords are all “pinning in” the cat and pointed down whereas in the 8 of wands it’s like the barriers have been lifted and the wands are leading the cat to “take flight”/freedom.
Also is it just me or does the cat on the 8 of wands have the design of a white owl on it’s back???
Hmm. I will have go back and check that out for myself. And, yes, that’s how most people remember my name: Josie and the Pussycats! 🙂
Hi, Kate.
Another interesting deck you are using. I noticed in the 8 of Wands card that the cat in it is in a magical circle with the tools of a dagger, a pentacle, a cup and a small wand or stick. It reminds me of the Magician card in the RWS deck. This kitty is obviously trying to change his circumstances and/or problem solving in an unconventional manner. Of course, this kitty is a Pagan cat so he uses his magical knowledge in order to get things moving. So the 8 is also a reflection of the eternity symbol above the magician’s head in the Major Arcana card. This is a pretty deep reading so I hope everyone out there realizes this is a week to get going on projects that have been in the back burner for awhile. 🙂
Thank you so much Josie for watching and sharing your observations on these cards! Yes, it’s definitely a time to get going on those projects – I’m actually going to take my own advice this week!
Beautiful reading, Kate! Thank you very much. Have a great week too!
Thank you for watching, Teresa 🙂
