Tarot Reading for Sept 5 – 11

For this week’s reading, I’m reading outside, at night – you can hear the crickets, my trickling fountain and neighbourhood chatter. For some reason, my mic really picked up the hum of my fountain pump, so I apologize the loud background noise, hopefully it doesn’t detract too much from the reading.

And I’m using the Everyday Witch Tarot for this reading…

Pssst! All my Tarot courses and e-books are 50% off right now…but only for a few more days! Check out my Tarot Shop for details.

Have a good week!

  1. Kate you are glowing in the dark! You’re looking so well! I think the moth activity, and Henry’s pawing at the glass, should be taken into consideration when interpreting this reading! Moths are considered to be messengers from the spirit world – how apt – similarly they represent death in the spiritual sense which leads to transformation and regeneration. 2 of Pentacles (Earth), 8 of Cups (Water), 4 of Pentacles (Earth) – yes, here on Earth, we need to restore the balance, between the physical world and the spiritual world. 8 of cups is about sacrifice, walking away. The bag she is holding reminds me of The Fool’s bag in Rider Waite, representing all that he needs/his conscience/conscious. He was also going on a journey, taking a leap. To make the necessary change, restore the balance, and raise our consciousness, we need to walk away from material things (outside) and follow the light, like moths to a flame! The first two cards are outside, the last one inside. The answer we seek is not outside, but within. Random thought, but I’ll go with it…Water (cosmic ocean/love) is sandwiched between two Earth cards – inviting you to go within…to eat the sandwich of love. To digest the filling. Fill yourself with the food of love. In the last card, the cat is going out the window – Henry wanted to get out and get the moth – to go towards the light! The death of one cycle and the beginning of another…walking away from the old world, into the new world. And last, but not least, the length of your video 13:13 – a message from the guardian angel Yeiazel about life, abundance, spirituality and creativity. And I found this on the internet ‘The Tarot card corresponding with 13:13 is Death, also known as the Arcanum with no name. It represents transformation. It cautions you not to delay when it comes to initiating the changes you need to make things better or to improve your situation. It also means the end of a cycle.’ Humanity is at the end of a cycle – Native Americans call this The Great Turning. Others call it the awakening of consciousness. Numerology 2 + 8 + 4 = 14 = Temperance – more balance – reduced to 5 = change. And, if we replaced the 8 of Cups with the 3 of Pentacles like Marie Nicole suggests in the comments, it would still give us the message that we need to work towards raising our consciousness. We are indeed being invited to go on another path, to open the treasure coffer which has been closed, and guarded, for too long…to be re-opened, re-discovered, remembered… and, yes, look up (like the 2 of Pentacles) to another realm…infinity…the cosmic ocean of love, the one consciousness, from which we were all born and to which we will all return…for eternity. Yes, like Kate said, I am longing to share with the world! To open the chest! So don’t just sit there open your chest – your heart – let the light in and remember the truth so we can change the world, for the better, and live as we were intended to live, in peace, harmony, abundance and love. Namaste, Lisa šŸ˜ƒ

  2. Thank you for such a meaningful reading. I resonated with the 4 of Pentacles regarding getting clear on deciding what you want. Iā€™d like to be clearer, but Iā€™m having difficulty deciding. I think I need a personal, in depth reading.
I really like your outdoor patio readings, bringingus a bit closer to nature.

  3. Hi Kate,
I thought it was an interesting draw. We have almost a suite. Instead of 2, 3, 4 of Pentacles, the 3 is replaced by the 8 of Cups. If you put the 3 of Pentacles besides the 8 of Cups, a different perspective is offered. Collaboration or group working is not what we’re seeking; we’re on another path.
It substantiates what you were saying, being open to share something valuable. I would add that “something” has been put aside (in a coffer) for a long time (old castle). It may have to do with the 2 of Pentacles looking up to another realm – infinity. Food for thought.
