The Two of Swords Tarot card suggest that you have a decision to make, but you feel unable to choose, either because you feel you don’t have enough information yet or you have conflicted feelings.

The blindfold signifies the need to shut out outside influences (close your eyes) and go within to contemplate things. Let go of the fear of making the wrong choice and adopt the belief that you simply cannot make the wrong decision – all roads lead you to where you are meant to go.

You can make a pros and cons list if it makes you feel better, but the sooner you get out of your head and into your heart and body, the sooner you will resolve this inner conflict. The Two of Swords Tarot card implies that this conflict is of the mind – over- thinking has got you here and a different approach is needed to solve this dilemma.

Exercise: Let your “mind” drop from your head down into your chest. What decision would your heart make? Now, let your “mind” drop from your heart into your solar plexus/stomach area. What is this part of your body telling you?

I used Life Purpose Oracle Cards for today’s oracle card reading and the card I drew was Bodywork. It’s message is: “Your life purpose involves bodywork, such as massage therapy, energy healing, physical therapy, or exercise training.”

Today is the perfect day to really focus on your body and give it what it needs. Treat yourself to a massage, a Reiki session or a really energizing workout. When you honor your body, it will reward you!

If you feel drawn to learn a particular form of bodywork, take the initiative today to look into it. See if a class is offered locally or check out books on the topic. There are so many ways to work with the body to bring about health and wellness, but the main message of this oracle card reading is to realize the power of working with your body to help release energetic blockages to create shifts and healing.

The Four of Cups Tarot card has come up today to remind us to focus on the positive and dwell on what’s working – not what doesn’t!

The figure in the card is gloomily glaring at the knocked over cup, while turning his back on three cups being filled. He is missing out all the abundance at his fingertips because he chooses to remain fixed on the spilled cup.

Are you doing this at all in your life right now? The Four of Cups Tarot card is here to remind you that dwelling on the negative can block the flow of abundance and cause you to feel drained and lethargic.

This doesn’t mean you should ignore your negative feelings and plaster on an insincere smile anyway. Mistakes, negative feelings and losses need to be examined and mourned so that you can move on. Just make sure you don’t spend too much time over-analyzing what went wrong. Not only are good things coming to you – but good things are already here!

I drew The Dragon’s Duel from the Wisdom of the Hidden Realms Oracle for today’s oracle card reading. This card has to do with inner conflict, morality and conscious choice.

Today you may experience the inner turmoil that results when your Ego and Higher Self battle it out! There are many ways this can show up in your daily life – for example, you may struggle with doing what you feel is best versus what your mind thinks you should do.

The Ego loves to be right, which the Higher Self (or Consciousness) couldn’t care less about! So you may feel torn between letting a long held dispute go and pursuing the argument to make your point.

When it comes to making decisions today and deciding how you will act, take the time to really check in with yourself. What actions or choices make you feel a sense of expansion? What actions and choices cause you to feel tense and contracted?

When you let your Higher Self guide you, a sense of freedom and ease will be present (even if you are doing something that scares you or feels a bit rebellious). Today’s oracle card reading reminds you that you always have the choice between aligning with Ego or Higher Self. Once you make that choice, all inner conflict will dissolve.

Today’s Tarot reading has brought up the Seven of Pentacles Tarot card, which is all about establishing patience and trust in your life.

Perhaps you are feeling frustrated today that things are not unfolding as quickly as you would like. Or maybe you are not seeing the results of your hard work just yet and you are doubting yourself just a bit.

At times like this it is helpful to think of a seed being planted in the earth. Many changes happen to the seed as it grows under the soil, but to the the observer it would appear as though nothing is happening. Until finally, it pushes up through the soil and grows into a beautiful plant!

The Seven of Pentacles is here to tell you that your goals and dreams are like this seed. Just because nothing major is happening just yet, it is not time to give up! Waiting can be difficult, but do not give up – nurture your dreams and have patience. Uncertainty is normal at this stage, but when you trust the process, you can ease your self doubt and enjoy this time of anticipation.

Ten of Pentacles ~ Tarot Card for Friday

Today’s tarot card is Ten of Pentacles – twice in one week! You may recall that Wednesday’s card was also Ten of Pentacles, only from a different tarot deck.

I get a different feeling with this Ten of Pentacles, compared to the one on Wednesday. This card has an abundant, nurturing vibe and speaks of the importance of nurturing your goals and dreams as they are about to bear fruit.

It may feel like where you would like to be is so far off that you cannot see it clearly. However, it is closer than you think. Focus on nurturing your hopes and dreams – be gentle with them, don’t share them with others just yet. Give them a chance to grow and become strong and vibrant.

Soon you will be able to develop a brighter and clearer vision of your destination. You are about to end a particular phase and start a new one. Once this new phase is over, your dreams will feel much closer to you.

The Osho Zen Tarot card “Politics” reminds us to be ourselves this weekend and to enjoy being authentic and honest in all our dealings with others.

If you find yourself having to mask your true feelings and desires in order to fit in socially, you might notice that you feel drained, stressed or cut off from your true self.

Can you imagine what it would be like if you expressed your true feelings in public without worrying about how others see you? How would it feel to stop trying to convince others that you are a good/smart/interesting person?

This Osho Zen Tarot card has another meaning – when you embrace your “shadow self” you lose the need to hide part of yourself from others. What parts of yourself have you rejected and disowned? What aspect of yourself do you suppress and hide? The more you work towards embracing these disowned selves, the freer you are to experience your wonderful qualities. Choices, choices, choices! This weekend is full of different opportunities and events – you just have to decide what you want to do. The Seven of Cups warns you not to waste too much time trying to decide – just go with what interests you the most.

Another message of the Seven of Cups is to avoid spreading yourself too thin. Don’t try to do everything this weekend – pick and choose the best options. This way, you will have the energy and focus to enjoy what you are doing, instead of rushing around trying to fit everything in!

On a broader scale, this may apply to your life in general as well. I notice this card can come up for people who have a very large array of interests and hobbies or several possible careers. It is true that in making certain choices, comes the loss of other choices. But it is important to keep in mind that we will always have a wide array of choices in our lives – different choices, depending on what’s going on for us, but choice will be there nonetheless. So do not think you are limiting your choices by making a decision!

This Page is all about study, learning and apprenticeship, but it refers to both formal and informal study. If you have been thinking about switching careers or branching out and trying something new, it means that studying this new information and learning new skills will be an important step for you.

Take action toward your goals today by looking into courses, programs or teachers that could help you along your new path. Or even start by getting a book on your chosen subject/field and begin doing your own research.

Make sure whatever you are investing your time, money and energy in is something that brings you joy and really captivates your interest. The process of learning should be just as exciting as your idea of this new career. Don’t waste time studying something that holds little interest for you just for the sake of getting a “good” job after.

Enjoy the journey, not just the fantasy of the destination!
