Veronica is a slinky minx of a Tarot reader who gives awful (yet always practical) advice. She is the The Daily Tarot Girl’s evil twin and has a passion for telling it like it is, offending others and being way sexier than everybody else. She recently got into her good twin’s box of Doreen Virtue oracle cards and she’s just having a field day….
“Release judgments about yourself and others, and focus on the love and light that is within everyone.”
Except for the assholes. Don’t release judgements about them 😉
Kuan Yin busts onto the scene with her message of compassion, but what she’s really saying is you must learn to love all of yourself…even your inner jerk-face.
Then releasing judgments about all the other jerk-faces in your life will be a whole lot easier.
No one is one-dimensional. We all have our wonderful and terrible aspects.
That raging douche-bag who pulled out in front of you in the grocery store parking lot, causing you to slam on your breaks, sending a carton of milk flying off the passenger seat and bursting into your windshield and all over the dashboard and upholstery, also has a really lovable side to him.
Trust me….
This is a good kick in the butt to love my inner Jerk this weekend. Perhaps she is fed up with being muted by chocolate.
I love this as more daily approach to “shadow work” 🙂
Well, muted by chocolate doesn’t sound so bad, Ellen!
“Inner jerk-face”, you say? (aka me during PMS!) I soooo know what you mean. The sense I’m getting from this card is to be centered and harmonized with myself. It goes with the World card from your good twin’s last weekly reading, which is also a card for this weekend. Thanks for reminding me of the need to be at peace with myself.
(Although with the lotus, ahem her “flower”, blooming, and that circle/opening radiating out behind her, I can’t help but think she’s REALLY into the free love thing. 😉 Also love the part about the milk carton. Reminds me of this one time I was in Walmart, and these kinds were tossing this milk carton around. They dropped it and it went everywhere! Yep, lots of white stuff…everywhere 😉 See what you’ve done, Veronica? What can I say? I learn from the best. 🙂 Have a blessed weekend!)
LOL!!! Now you’ve got me thinking – does “compassionate” equal “slutty”? Hmmmm….perhaps. God, I hope you didn’t get squirted with white stuff in Wal-mart – that would be THE WORST!
XOXO
Veronica
Wow this definitely is a message for me!! Thanks 🙂
Your welcome, Ruth 🙂
