Tarot Reading for Jan 1 – 7

I’m back! After a three week bout of pneumonia, I’m back to doing my weekly readings. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I wish you a happy New Year 🙂

For this reading I’m using the Druidcraft Tarot…

Have a great week!

  1. Brilliant treading, my thought with the King and 10 of Pentacles, is they look very similar the beard parts the same way although the 10 ‘s beard is white. I also think may the man is thinking about a decision as you see the s young man gripping i think tightly the chair, maybe requesting something from the father? So overall at the end of the week after the explosion at the beginning of the week, the King balancing and grounding the issue at hand mid week the father maybe having to make a decision

anyway there’s my 2 pentacles for what it’s worth

  2. I just found my way to your site. I appreciate your approach and openness. I really liked you reaching out to others for suggestions on the X of Pentacles, instead of forcing an interpretation.

  3. Hi Kate and speedy recovery! I enjoy your cards interpretation, they feel very intuitive and down to earth but I have once question, how are weekly readings applicable to every one since we are all so different? …just trying to figure this out…

    Thank you!

    1. Good question Letty,
I like to think of my weekly readings as being similar to the horoscopes you read in magazines – they are general and not everything you read in your horoscope will apply to you but hopefully some of it will. Hope that makes sense!

      Cheers,
      Kate

  4. Hi Kate,
Thank you for a thought provoking reading.
I was coughing along with you whilst I watched, lol as I have a “chest infection,” my sympathies are with you and I hope you a speedy recovery from your bout of flu,
Best wishes in your endeavours for the new year, Jim.

  5. Nice to have you back, Kate! I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better.

One thing I saw in the reading that interested me (other than the great stuff you had to say about it) was how it looks like the fire from the lightning in The Tower becomes useful or “domesticated” in the King of Pentacles, and then the solitary king draws a family around him … or something like that.

  6. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been ill, Kate! I hope you’re back to 100 per cent quickly. Happy New Year, and many blessings in 2018!
