Feeling Safe is the theme of today’s Oracle card, from the Healing with the Fairies Oracle Cards. There is a difference between being safe and feeling safe. You can be safe, but still feel vulnerable.

Today’s card is here to say you are safe and now its time to focus on feeling at ease in your life. If you don’t actually feel unsafe, do you feel stressed in any way? Again, its possible to feel stressed out when nothing is actually wrong.

If you have spend many days on high alert – either at work, dealing with work-stress or at home – its now time to scale it down a bit. You don’t need to feel so keyed up anymore. You can relax now. Do some yoga, meditate and create an affirmation for yourself that immediately puts you in a state of ease.

I used my new favorite deck Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle for today’s reading and I got Storykeeper. Her message is “tell your story, legacy, write your wisdom.”

You have a story to tell! Don’t deprive the world of your personal wisdom and humorous insights into life. Write down your ideas as your story is meant to be told.

Likewise, you will learn so much from reading about other’s stories. Biographies in particular can be an enlightening and inspiring read. As you honor other’s stories and experiences you also honor your own – just don’t forget to share your story as well!

Make time today to sit with pen and paper and ask yourself: what story do I want to share with the world? or, If you could only tell one story and you knew that thousands of people would hear it, what would you say? What message do you want to get across?

Today’s Oracle card is all about cutting your cords ~ it’s message is “Ask Archangel Michael to clear any old attachments to fear that stem from past relationships, freeing you from destructive patterns.”

Is there someone from your past who you are still energetically attached to? This could be anyone that you still have strong feelings for – both negative and positive. Or even someone you think about often, even though you haven’t been in contact for years. Do you feel that this is holding you back in any way?

The message of this Oracle card is that it is time to sever those energetic ties as this will free you up in ways you have never imagined. Think of it as releasing that person from your energy field and freeing yourself in the process. This is perhaps the most compassionate thing you can do for yourself.

There are numerous ways to do this, but the most simple is visualizing a cord that is plugged into your body (usually the solar plexus area) connecting you to this person. Imagine yourself unplugging this cord from your body and seeing the other person drift away, getting further and further away. Wish them well and celebrate your newfound lightness.

Today is a great day to let go of any stress that is effecting you. Actually, every day is a good day to do this! One of the best ways to do this is to look to animals for guidance.

Try looking at your problem or stressful issue through the eyes of your dog or cat. This will probably make you laugh, as you won’t be able to imagine your dog getting all worked up about a deadline or what someone thinks of him.

So if you feel yourself start to stress out about something, stop and ask yourself what your cat would do in this situation. And take a few deep breaths!

Today’s daily oracle card is “Trust” and it is urging you to let go of worry, anxiety and fear and trust that everything will work out for the best.

I feel like this card applies to both small life issues and bigger ones. Where in your life could you use more trust? Having trust in life allows you to be confident and calm, even when the situation may be stressful.

The back of this card says “Trust your decisions. March to the beat of your own heart”. Ask yourself what those words mean to you? What would marching to the beat of your own heart look like for you? How would you live your life differently?

When we have difficult decisions to make, it is not uncommon for others to offer their advice. Today’s daily oracle card reminds you that it is important for you to listen to your intuition and trust fully in the decisions you make, regardless of what others may say. The daily oracle card for today is Healing Heart and it’s message is: “you’re a powerful healer, keep up the great work!”

This weekend will be all about healing yourself and others in many different ways. The healing power of the ocean figures prominently in this card and I feel like any activity by the ocean – relaxing on the beach, swimming, boating, kayaking – will be healing this weekend.

Laughter is also healing – and so the more you connect with friends, spouses, kids and pets, the more opportunity for shared laughter.

But the real message of this card is to be fully present in your interactions with others this weekend – and this in itself will bring about an incredible healing energy that will bring about peaceful and positive feelings. When your talking with a friend, really listen to them and when you are snuggling with your pet, sense the energy that is being exchanged.

Try to minimize multitasking this weekend, as it is difficult to be fully present when you are trying to do a bunch of things at once. Just focusing completely on doing one thing at a time will be healing for your mind, body and spirit – and for those around you.

Today’s daily oracle card is Purification ~ White Tara. The need for cleansing and clearing are indicated by this card, on both physical and energetic levels.

Habits, thoughts, emotions and energies are held within our auric fields and need to be periodically cleansed so we don’t get stuck in a rut and bogged down with all the buildup.

Breathing techniques such as Kapalabhati breath can help cleanse your body of toxins, as well as infrared saunas, yoga, vigorous exercise and drinking plenty of water with lemon juice. And you can cleanse your mind of old thought forms through regular meditation.

Avoiding things that bring your energy down to a low state is also a form of purification. Try going a day or two without listening, watching or reading the news and notice how much more energized you feel.

Ask yourself: What can I do today that would help cleanse my mind, body and spirit?

Daily Oracle Reading for Monday ~ Crystals

Today’s daily oracle reading turned up the “Crystals” card, represented by the Goddess Epona, protector of horses.

If you have crystals in your home, now is a good time to connect with them for healing purposes. Hold them, put them by your bed at night, meditate with them and really appreciate their beauty.

The message I got when I looked at this card was that crystals are very useful in helping us manifest what we desire, contacting our higher selves and facilitating powerful dreams. Many of us have crystals sitting around and we forget to work with them.

Try This! Listen to the wisdom of your crystal by holding it in your hand, closing your eyes and letting yourself slip into a relaxed state of mind. Ask your crystal if it has any messages for you right now and then wait…..did you see any images in your mind’s eye? Did any particular words or phrases come to mind? You will begin to see your crystals in a whole new light when you start doing this regularly!
