Snail’s Pace ~ Oracle Card for Thursday

Today’s oracle card is Snail’s Pace from my Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle. The message on this card is “slow down, grounding, listen for the heartbeat of the earth, subtle energies.”

Hrm, hrmm, this is very similar to yesterday’s Four of Swords! Perhaps you didn’t take the advice of yesterday’s card? (which was to take a nap). If so, today is STILL a nap day! Yay!

However, I don’t feel like today is really a do-nothing kind of day, but rather a do one-thing-at-a-f*&%ing-time kind of day. Don’t pull any of that multitasking nonsense and just focus on being fully present and alive in all that you do. Have a beautiful Thursday! 🙂

I used my new favorite deck Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle for today’s reading and I got Storykeeper. Her message is “tell your story, legacy, write your wisdom.”

You have a story to tell! Don’t deprive the world of your personal wisdom and humorous insights into life. Write down your ideas as your story is meant to be told.

Likewise, you will learn so much from reading about other’s stories. Biographies in particular can be an enlightening and inspiring read. As you honor other’s stories and experiences you also honor your own – just don’t forget to share your story as well!

Make time today to sit with pen and paper and ask yourself: what story do I want to share with the world? or, If you could only tell one story and you knew that thousands of people would hear it, what would you say? What message do you want to get across?

Oracle Card Reading for Friday!

Wolf (Instinct) is today’s oracle card and it’s message is to trust your own instincts, even if ignoring them may seem easier in the short term.

You have an innate ability to know exactly where to go, what to do and how to do it. Even though you often forget to use your instinctual abilities, you still have them! You may experience this today as a feeling of excitement, or tiredness when someone suggests an idea to you.

Sometimes its hard to trust your instincts if you have a strong feeling that you should feel or act a certain way. You may fear offending someone if you go with your instincts, but realize that this is only a social fear and your instincts really do know the best path for you. Its safe for you to trust them.

Get in touch with your instincts by meditating in nature (or just imagining yourself in nature while you meditate), and asking your instincts to reveal themselves and bring you guidance. I did this the other day and was amazed at the insights I got, as well as all the creative ideas that came flooding in! Make sure you keep a notebook and pen handy for afterwards.

Oracle Card for Tuesday!

Today’s oracle card is Connection and its message is all about love and living in the heart. The message on the back of this card says “Connect with someone special. A loved one is a gift to treasure.”

When you move from your head down into your heart, the way you understand life shifts dramatically. While the mind’s reality is one of separation, fear, survival, limits and ego, your heart’s reality is all about expansiveness, connection, love and understanding.

If you are having any kind of inner or outer conflict today, move your energy into your heart and notice how your perspective changes.


There are many ways to enter the heart, but these two are my favorites:

1) Imagine a small light in the center of your heart. Breath into your heart and feel that light glow bigger and brighter with each breath, until it is radiating out into the world.

2) Ask yourself what you want to share with the world – what gift you want to give and what part of yourself you are longing to express. (If you are feeling brave, share this with me in the comments section below!)
