Tarot Card Reading for Oct 14 – 20

It was a very sad day yesterday as I took my six foster kittens to the adoption center to find their forever homes. Normally I’m like a detached psychopath when I drop kittens off at the petstore – it honestly doesn’t bother me and I’ve done it so many times now that it just feels routine, but this time was different.

I cried hysterically on the drive there and on the way back and then some more once I got home until my cat Merlina gave me a withering glare and said “get over it.” But I’ll really miss this crew – they were so cuddly and silly and I hope they all find wonderful humans to love them as much as I have.

I Got Ghosted! So I Made This Tarot Spread…

I recently had the bizarre experience of getting completely ghosted by a friend. One minute we were great buds and the next minute she was giving me the cold shoulder.

I have no idea why.

My first thought was what did I do wrong? Was it something I said? And then I backtracked and replayed our last interactions in my mind, looking for the pivotal moment when she must have thought yuck, I want nothing to do with Kate anymore!

At this point I realized I could drive myself crazy by guessing and speculating, so I decided to take a deep breath and create a new Tarot spread….because I know there are others out there like me who have been ghosted and thought WTF?

After trying out this spread, I felt calm, peaceful and ready to let this friendship go. It can be hard when someone disappears from your life and you don’t know why, so hopefully this spread will help you put it all in perspective and get clear on how you can feel better about this whole shit charade!

I’ve been really into Tarot and Oracle cards for the past 10 years but somehow managed to avoid learning anything about Lenormand cards until now. I know, it’s crazy!

Lenormand is very different from Tarot – yes, it’s still cards with pictures of stuff on them and you read them, but it’s done very differently. I think I avoided it because my brain just couldn’t handle learning another new divination system. But now I’m ready and raring to go!

I decided to start my Lenormand journey with the Green Glyphs Lenormand by James R. Eads (the creator of the Prisma Visions Tarot)…

I feel like this is a great deck for those new to Lenormand (like myself!) but also for those who just want a new, gorgeous, high quality Lenormand deck.

The card stock is orgasmic – velvety, matte finish with rose gold edges that don’t flake off sparkly shit on your fingers. The box is really cute and sturdy with a magnetic closure, making opening and closing this box feel oddly enticing. Also, the guidebook is awesome – lots of great basic info on how to use these cards.

There’s no beating around the bush here – The Magician is a master seducer of epic proportions!

If The Magician ever crosses your path, hold onto your hat (and your panties!) because you have no idea what you’re in for!

The Don Juan of the Tarot, The Magician almost always succeeds in his seduction because he knows how to captivate you on all four levels of your being – body, mind, emotion and spirit – which most sleazy pick up artists overlook.

This is what gives The Magician his power and edge in the bedroom.
