The Hermit Tarot Card for Wednesday!

Intuitive Tarot
The Intuitive Tarot by Cilla Conway

The Hermit tarot card is all about taking comfort in solitude and shining the light of consciousness and inner wisdom on your life.

When you look at this card you see scary creatures lurking in the dark corners. This represents the idea that we fear what we do not understand. There are no frightening creatures in the light. When you notice your fears come up, shine the light of awareness on it. The more you know about and are aware of your fears, the less power they will hold over you.

Nearly every negative feeling we have can be traced back to fear. So when a negative feeling arises today, ask yourself what the original fear is.

Get to know your fears – where did they originate from? How do they effect you in your day to day life? What kinds of things can you do to help dissipate this fear?

But most importantly, ask yourself who would I be without this fear?

Four of Pentacles Tarot Card for Tuesday!

four of pentacles tarot card
Sirian Starseed Tarot by Patricia Cori

The Four of Crystals from the Sirian Starseed Tarot is the card for today (a.k.a. the Four of Pentacles in many other tarot decks). This card brings a message about introversion and your hesitancy to share your gifts with the world.

There is a healthy balance between going within for guidance, nourishment and rest and putting yourself out there and sharing your insights and talents. Beware of remaining stuck in the introverted phase.

Sharing yourself with others can make you feel vulnerable, so use your meditation time to go within and confront those fears. Find a way to gain strength and confidence about what you have to offer the world.

You need not keep your wonderful talents and skills locked up any longer! There are many who will benefit deeply from your work.

Five of Wands Tarot Card for Monday

hanson-roberts tarot
Hanson-Roberts Tarot

Monday’s Tarot card is the Five of Wands, which is all about competition, minor struggles and conflicts of will.

However, I get the sense that this has everything to do with  your many duties, interests and goals conflicting and competing for your time and attention.

Do you feel like you have tons of things you want to accomplish, but not enough time to “do it all”? Or do you feel like some of your goals and desires actually clash with each other?

Today is the day to get organized and clear about your priorities. Be realistic about how much time to you have and what tasks are most important to you. Prioritize, delegate and see if there is a way to clear some time and space for yourself.

When your many talents, skills and ideas work together, as opposed to battling for equal attention from you, there are no limits as to how far you can go!

Tarot Reading for Friday!

osho zen tarot cards
Osho Zen Tarot

Friday’s tarot card, The Creator, is from the Osho Zen Tarot. Creativity will come into your life in full force today, so look out! That creative spark within you wants a chance to come out and shine.

This will feel wonderful if you are ready to express your creativity and take action in creating what you envision. But if you are fearful in any way, it can feel frustrating!

To help process this ever-increasing energy within you, ask yourself these questions:

1) If there were no limits, what would you want to create?
2) What can you create today or this week that would satisfy your creativity?
3) What do you need to do or to let go of in order to feel comfortable expressing yourself fully?

The Creator is one of the most confident, powerful cards in the Osho Zen Tarot. He reminds you that you have his power and confidence available to you if you choose to use it!

Six of Pentacles ~ Tarot Reading for Thursday

six of pentacles new palladini tarot
The New Palladini Tarot by David Palladini

Today’s daily tarot reading turns up the Six of Pentacles, which brings a message of balance, equality and the importance of generosity.

I have the feeling that most people reading this are very good at showing generosity to others and wouldn’t hesitate to help a friend in need. But how do you feel about accepting help from others? What about accepting compliments?

Today is all about graciously accepting help and kindness from others. You know how good it feels to do something nice for someone, so do someone the favor of letting them do something nice for you!

On a different note, I feel that the Six of Pentacles speaks of the need to balance finances. Don’t be reckless with your spending this today and make sure that your inflow and outflow of money is nicely balanced.

Paulina Tarot by Paulina Cassidy

Today is the perfect time to study or explore something that interests you!  Read a book that calls to you, sign up for that night-course that intrigues you, or take a new route on your walk today. Shake up your regular routine by doing something new, fresh and interesting.

The owl in this card suggests that your true wisdom can be accessed when you fully engage yourself in what you love to do. Particularly when you are feeling playful and joyous. We often think that “wisdom” and “playfulness” don’t really go together, but here in this Ace of Wands, they do!

You are on the cusp of a new beginning and about to come into your own wisdom and see things with a fresh set of eyes. This whimsical Paulina Tarot card reminds you to keep an open mind and a playful attitude!

The Star ~ Tarot Reading for Tuesday!

druidcraft tarot the star
The Druidcraft Tarot by Stephanie Carr-Gomm and Will Worthington

Today’s card is The Star tarot card and her message is this: Let go and let life flow. Don’t try to make things happen, just sit back, relax into your life and watch things unfold before you.

If you are feeling stressed out about things, surrender your “problems” to your higher self/god/goddess or angels before going to bed and trust that everything will work out as it should.

Your potential as a human being is far greater when you take a relaxed, trusting approach to life, stop doing and start being. It is important to remain open to higher energies right now as they will help you guide your life in the direction that will be most rewarding for you.

Working with crystals may be extra helpful for you today. Even just placing crystals around your home will help bring in the transformative, star energy that this card represents.

As you go about your day today, remember to tune into that relaxed, peaceful, trusting energy of The Star tarot card – this will bring you closer to your higher self and your life purpose.

Medicine Woman ~ Oracle Card for Monday

Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue

This week will be all about healing and being open to the powerful energies that are available to you right now.

Being a channel for energy means that you do not have to struggle or strive, but just sit back, relax and remain open. Let healing energy flow through you and re-energize your system.

Sit for a few minutes and visualize a gentle rainstorm of healing energy wash over you. Intend for this energy to wash away any negative, heavy energies so that your most powerful self can emerge.

Today is a great day to do activities that make you feel empowered, strong and in the flow of life – such as dancing, running or swimming in the ocean at night.

*My weekly forecast video is now up and you can see it here (when I originally sent out the email yesterday, the video wasn’t showing up- my apologies!)

My Worst Tarot Reading Ever!

One question I am often asked is: “what makes a good Tarot reading?”

I have been thinking back to all of the readings I have had – Tarot, palm, psychic, tea leaf, Angel Card and Akashic Soul Reading – to pinpoint what exactly made me enjoy these readings. What I found was that it was impossible to define the elements of a great reading without first pinpointing what makes a bad reading.

The worst reading I ever had was a Tarot reading at a high school graduation party….continue reading this article
