Today’s Angel card asks you to relax about your Divine Purpose.

If you have been fretting lately about whether or not you are doing what you are “supposed” to be doing, the answer is “yes”.

Your divine purpose is usually something very general and can be fulfilled in a million different ways. You are always living out your divine purpose to a certain extent, no matter what.

However, lately you have felt like you could be doing more and you tell yourself that if you figured out what you were meant to do, things would feel right.

Beware that part of this is just your ego’s way of making you feel like you aren’t good enough and your not doing it right, but part of it is your genuine intuitive sense that things could be better.

So ask yourself: What do I want more of in my life? What would I do if money was no object? ~ Asking these two questions will give you some clues about the nature of your divine purpose.

Avoid the temptation to seek widsom outside of yourself today. Yes, you can learn a lot from others, but don’t underestimate your own inner knowing and genius!

You may feel powerfully drawn to someone today – most likely a spiritual teacher or speaker. Listen to what they have to say and enjoy their story, but come back to yourself and integrate the knowledge with your own experience.

You are much wiser than you give yourself credit for!

9 of swordsToday’s Tarot card is the Nine of Swords and comes to tell you to stop worrying about stuff. Your mind has an amazing ability to turn small issues into big problems – if you let it.

If you feel bombarded by your worries, try writing out your “problems” on a sheet of paper. This gets them out of your head.

Can you remember that last time you solved a big problem by worrying endlessly about it? Of course you can’t!

Your mind is a gift and its there to help you – but sometimes, if left to run the show it goes batshit crazy and starts fabricating troubles just so it can keep itself busy as a bee.

If there’s one thing your mind hates, its being idle. How noble! Thank your mind for working overtime without pay and then do something to switch it off like swimming, painting or yoga.

This lady seems to be pondering her choice of drink “Hmmm, what should I have? The Long Island Iced Tea, the dirty martini, the G&T, the rum and coke, or the…”

Um, slow down Betty! Maybe you should just have a water.

Today you will be faced with a multitude of choices – which are all the same.

If you find yourself in a state of indecision or overwhelm, maybe its because all the options are a bit blah.

Don’t let anyone railroad you into making a decision that you aren’t 100% happy with. The unimaginative, raggedy-ass masses that surround you will say that you have to decide and make some concessions. F*ck em!

If you don’t like the options on the table, create new ones.

Oh, and if I were that sulky lady in the card, I’d pick the tall orange drink in the top right. Looks fruity!

The Three of Cups urges you to take a lighter approach today. Celebrate, enjoy the company of good friends and whatever you do....don’t take life too seriously!

If you are having a conflict with someone, look for your similarities rather than your differences.

And if you are feeling isolated or un-prosperous, reach out to those around you, share in the abundance that you do have and feel your spirits lift.

Today is the day you may find out you got the job, a family member is expecting or old friends are in town and want to get together. Whatever it is, have fun!

Create Magic in Your Life! ~ The Magician (Wednesday)

You are The Magician in your own life – enjoy it! Today you will meet plenty of opportunities to start creating magic and shaping your life the way you want it.

But the first step is to recognize yourself as the magician that you are – kick any “loser thoughts” that might creep up when you least expect it.

Some endings are easy and you have no problem saying good riddance!, but some endings are difficult and you want to hold on forever and ever.

Whichever type of “ending” you are dealing with right now, know that it is appropriate for this stage on your path – its a juncture that you must cross if you want to keep going.

Put your health first and foremost today – particularly where eating and stress reduction is concerned.

If you are struggling with eating healthy foods, plan your meals ahead of time and be prepared. Buy fresh veggies and fruit to have on hand and chuck out any crap food – like store-bought cookies – you may have lurking in your cupboards.

Reduce stress today by noticing your breathing at various times throughout the day. Even if its just for a minute – this is enough to bring your stress levels down dramatically!

When you let yourself get stressed, you disconnect from divine guidance and “the flow” of life – so do something nice for yourself today that will help you get into that healthy zen state.

*Just a quick note – I am going on a “media vacation” for 4 whole days (so excited!!!), so I will not be responding to any comments here on my blog until Thursday.
